Saturday night I ventured deep into underground Helsinki to play a set at a warehouse party by the name of Kaninkolo. The party was absolutely awesome and the venue was really something else, I didn't have very high expectations about it but it totally blew me away.
I played the first set of the night, but since this wasn't your run of the mill party at a club, people were dancing pretty early on. I started of with some (modern) house, played some tech house and ended with some straight up techno. The best tune of my set was Umek's rework of Hablando, which I dropped in just when Umek's Work This Data went off, and people really went crazy for it.
Absolutely great party, thanks to everyone who made it happen, and hope people enjoyed the brownies we brought with us.

Whoa, it sure is gonna be a busy week gigwise. I'll be playing a short tech house set at INDWT @ Nude this Wednesday, then a live set at Robotnik @ Kuudes Linja on Thursday (my set starts at 22:00, be there!) and finally a b2b all-nighter with Upi at Emperatron's Horror Bash @ Playground on Friday (of course Upi is also playing at both of the aforemention events as well :P).
Looking forward to Friday's gig, gonna have the opportunity to play a longer set and mix up styles and genres a bit. We're planning to play a bit of techno and tech house stuff, some dubstep and we're even gonna be rinsing some proper drum and bass. The main room will be delivering the usual wobble and fidget sounds of Emperatron. The place will most likely get totally packed. I'm also working on a costume for Friday, since after all, it is Halloween (free entry all night long with a costume btw).
Thursday's live gig is also something I've been looking forward too for a while. Nice to get the chance to play at a bit bigger venue than usual, hopefully there will be some people there although we're playing pretty early.
See you around, gonna head to the studio in a bit to work on some stuff for our new live project, more on that later, I'll just mention I personally think it's complete sickness!
Oh, and here's something for your hearing pleasure, you didn't think I'd skip out on audio content now did you?
